Title: Legacy Gt E-tune Oob

kalam2b - November 7, 2008 04:37 AM (GMT)
New project OOB, breakaway awhile from custom mod.

Fujimi subaru legacy GT e-tune (from Cham, thanks bro).

Painted with tamiya pearlwhite (with tamiya racingwhite base). Smoke the taillight and simple STI decal. Almost done the exterior, next step the interior and undercarriage. and for the wheels, plan to use tamiya arai impreza wheels (painted in gold).

Need ur suggestion guys, i'm out of tamiya racingwhite so the hood color is quite lighter (manage to apply 1 layer only) than the body. so what do you think that i should do? the options are :
1. go and buy another can <_<
2. paint it flat black/gloss black .
3. just crowd it with decal.
4. CF decal? (the problem is as at now i only have red SMS cF decal and i think it's not suite the color theme)

I second BV's suggestion. The best way is to paint it black. :)

i am happy to see this baby being build.no needs thanks me.. i should thank you..... ^_^

anyway, it's a beauty. hope to see it finish soon...........
as for the hood
i would suggest you spray gunmetal color..it will be close to CF effect...
seen lots of examples and it's realistic !

Almost done.

After a few thoughts and tries, painted flat black finally. scrap the original plan due to limited source. now the wheel will be the 'avs'.

the wheel is nice, but strangely i felt the wheel too european, the car too japanese, so abit of a clash, not an issue :P maybe when i 1st saw the body especially with white, i was thinking some racing style wheel  , anyway good job kalam
