i've since love this mech when I play this game. REX is its name. always feel like scratch building it, but not until recently.... i made this prototype of the machine since there's no blueprint, no actual kit, no hi res pictures to refer... just some some illustration and 3d rendered wallpaper... to add the confusion, each and every illustration or models comes in different profile, details and proportion. the paper craft model does not help either.

so i sketch the blue print myself and try to make a prototype of it because i knew i couldnt get it right on the 1st go and dont wanna waste my time cutting precise pieces...

so here's the result.







Built using a mixture of both styrene and acrylic sheet.
it has yet got its menacing profile from this build. I'm going to improved the proportion from this. and this one, will remain in the vault... yeeee ah.. i know im wasting time... :lol: :lol:

wasting time?? i dont think so....its look good bro....in scratchbuilding especially in prototype subject like that....i don't think you need to presure your self on acuracy.....just get the flow and enjoy your build.....imaginations is more important to get a character.....just my 2 centslah....
