ok guys...
another WIP from me and ibuild this in the span of 3 days from last Friday..

out of the boredom of seeing aircraft related model i opened this box and start fidling with the parts..

its quite a detail kit as expected from Dragon (as if i ever build ships in other brands :P )

this kit got a sheet of PE for the railing and the tower. So this is going to be my first venture to using PE as well... double trouble for me.


and to note that this coming from Dragon (famous for it complexity in doing certain parts- for my standard la) to make this "missile-launcher" it requires me to glue around 5 small-tiny-miniscule parts together that makes my eyes almost popped out from its socket :blink: :blink:

but finally manage to get it done.


so below is the progress so far.

as of last nite... i already aply the railing on half of the ship but didnt have time to take photo last nite... i'll try to snapped some later tonite...

i belive this ship is ready for some surfacer later in the week...

oh also this kit come with a SH-60B Seahawk and also a "NURI" (which being labeled as not used sprue) and also a bonus a Hydrofoil-powerboat...

that should be it for now and as usual C&C are welcomed for this 1st timer ship builder...

i can say that i was impressed by the kit and this build.. The PE turn out very good (in the photo :)) and for a first timer with PE i must congratulate you on the job well done.. I still remember messy CA on my very first PE job..

btw, how long is the full ship?? I cannot measure from the photo coz the ship and cutting mat is not align .. hehehe

yea.. me also suprise with the easiness of working with PE...
i use CA with needle as the applicator....

i believe the ship is around 15 cm cannot say for sure since not with me ATM

and yes.. this will be in for the FNGB since this guy got those SH-60Seahawk on the helipad... and also i'm thining of making the seahawk in 1/48 scale as well..

see la who this would turn out...

will be ready this weekend for a date with Mr Surfacer..

Looks like you have a hidden talent for PE, Kuman. Based on the neat handiwork and a first timer too you may just push overboard PE Loo and become the next PE sifu. Ladies & Gentlemen, we present you PE Kuman. :D

Looks like a nice clean build thus far and with that nice little hydrofoil boat, this one will make a nice little dio. Do keep us posted.

UPDATES

as promised...

here are some shots of all the PE for the ship including the railing around it.. what's not on the ship yet is the railing around the helipad at the back of the ship.... that will be done tonite and should be ready for a date with Mr Surfacer this sunday.. :D

- also i've completed the Hydrofoil boat, but forgot to take picture of it. next week hopefully

to those who wonder about the ship length.. its about 17cm long..
