Guys,

As said, my mom came over (from Kelantan) for the Merdeka long break and annual medical check-up at UM.... She bring me a ship model that she happen to found it among mu old stuff back home town while doing some cleaning. It's a Revell 1976 released ocean research ship "CALYPSO" of the famous Jacques-Yves Cousteau.

Now I remember I bought this kit while I persue my Diploma at SIngapore back in 1976... Never build it keep as stash for so long until I totally forgot about it since I move to KL 10 years ago....

Kit includes a Hughes 300C helicopter, anti-shark cage, Galeazzi diving chamber, Zodiac Mk III "Grand Raid" inflatable boats and two SP-600 mini-subs....

I know this kit is an antique now, but I plan to start build it maybe end of this year (too many unfinish kit on the desk)...

Nice gem there. With your sculpting skill, I think you can build the ship and sculpt Jacques-Yves Cousteau bust to go with it.

Hey! I have the same kit in my stash somewhere. Got it in the 80s from Kathy's Toys in Jaya Supermarket.

You are lucky.. I had a CuttySark by Revell (i think). I found it again after manyX2 years, but at that time, termites had consumed all the instructions paper and box leaving just the plastic parts!!
