Dunk it into some brake fluid for a while..then use a stiff brush to brush off the old paint.

Been using Mr Paint Remover from GSI. Works quite well. Soak and wipe technique applies.

Here's a link that might give you some ideas - Aircraftresourcecenter.com - Stripping paint

I've used Easy Off Oven Cleaner (from Ace hardware) with great success to remove paint from a 13-year old 1/32 F-14.

However, I don't encourage to use it if you only have a few small items to remove paint from. It's pretty bad for health and you gotta make sure you do it outdoors. Also need rubber gloves as well cuz the stuff burns...

A friend of mine told me just now there's a paint remover for plastic selling at carrefour, is it relevant to model kit? BTW thanks to all for the useful info
