Title: 1/100 Lt. Lou Roher's Gouf Custom

Victorious Secret - August 11, 2008 09:50 AM (GMT)
Hello Ladies and Gentlemen,

Over the weekend I got bored so I decide to build Lou Roher's Gouf Custom. I got one of my snappers and just start painting it while watching the Olympic. Again going for that Zeonography look. Anyway, pretty simple build, a good break from the next big project.

Anyways, I hope you like.

LT. Lou Roher (looks like Lupin The 3rd hehe)

nice and clean kit man! though the color isn't my favorite ^_^

i realise gundam stuff appear in SMM is somehow quite different from the ones appear in other gundam-heavy forum. i think it's fresh air. :D definitely get lots of inspiration

VS,

Nice clean look on the Lupin's (:D) Gouf!

If you're going for more Zeonography-look, I think lots of stencil decal would pull it off nicely.

Great work!

Thank you gentlemen for the kind words,

Brother Rayloke:

I had a hard time doing the research for the what exact color for Lt. Roher's ride except a statement I found that said "some what greenish gray and grayish green" so I decide to take a stab at it. The "black" part of the armor is actually dark gray.

Brother Xamel

Yes sir, people always ask me why I don't put stencil on my models. You see, here are my reasons:

1. Most of the stencil are not in scale. These warning signs are the size of billboard. It does not make sense to me to put such a big "warning" signs next to a plain panel.

2. Not as realistic. The modern jet planes (I'm not talking about F14 or such, they are from the late 70s) have very few warning signs. I think the signs would be inside of the panel for maintaince crew rather than exposing them outside.

3. They are not asthetically pleasing. This is more of personal reasons and rather subjective point of view lol

Zeonography is a great series... the stencils are the reason that kept me from purchasing them. Thus I just build it myself :P
