Hi there hitsugayat.

The S15 does look good. But is the black supposed to be rough or is it just me? But it does look cool, to be honest. Can't wait to see the completed pictures.

Oh yeah, btw, you posted at the wrong section. It was supposed to be at the in-progress section.

Cheers,
Eric

Hi Hitsugayat10,

A great start there but I have to comment on the paint. It looks like it has quite a lot of orange peeling and you really need to work on that otherwise, no matter how many clear coats you apply onto the body, the finishing will always shows lumpy surfaces.

If you wanted to paint the car in flat black, you should not apply any clear coat on it but you still have to make sure the surface is smooth.

Just my five cents...

Thanks bro...at 1st i thought that d paint is d normal glossy type but it came out to be sandy type :P

Looks quite interesting though compared with d normal paints, hahah  might wanna use sand paper to reduce the 'orange peeling' then put on a clear coat :P

thanks for d advice, will c wat can i do with d car later

Did you primed the body? It could be that the AOS plastic quality is not that good.

hitsugayat10,
This built of yours seem to be a great idea. For your future project and if you want similier colour skim. My davise to you is that you have a good layer of primer. Sand the primer smooth with a 1500 or 2000 grit sand paper. I would suggest using Semi-Gloss Black. Althought many cars that you have seen with a flat black colour. It is not really that flat at all. Most of them are really semi-gloss black. It has a certain degree of blur shine it it. Once you have the semi-gloss black sprayed. You do not even need to clear coat it. ^_^

Actually Top Secret's signature color is Gold.

Most (if not all) of Top Secret's show cars are painted gold in color.

But anyway, this flat black looks nice, it gives it a "drifter" look to it.

Now all you need is to modify the front arm to give the front wheel more negative camber.
