Description: For Modeller Ref
hashaney - June 29, 2008 08:21 AM (GMT)
Gentlemen. Here r some pics which happen that I keep in my Hardisk. Its an old pic dated 2005 during Army Day at PUSASDA (Pusat Latihan Asas Tentera Darat). 4 Allouette involved that day. Hope everybody enjoy likes it...

Alouettes Taking Off...

Me on fourth AC called "Naughty Boy" bcoz 4th AC will not participate in the fly pass. Only to guide 3 AC levelling n position... This "naughty Boy" will fly like crazy just to get a good view n position to guide front AC so that they will be in correct "formation".

Close up of PUTD's Alouette cockpit.

Flags lowered in closed or "wrapped" position. Starboard view position.

Pilot performing quick 180 deg "pacak" to change from Starboard to Port (Right to Left) of Leading AC Group. Me at the back "gayat" lucky my Air QM hold me together with safety harness attached.... Phew! What an experienced.

Port view of AC.

Flags "opened" but still in "Holding Area"

All AC Flags opened n Flying

Level Flight

Distance checking...

PUTD's Alouettes "running in" for 45 sec TOT approach

Playtime after finishing the "Fly pass"

All four AC joined together n fly back to stagging area. B4 that some simple Heli stunt...

Quick banking to the left...

Quick banking to the right...

Tree Top Flying...

Me, the unfortunate cameraman get the "air sickness"... mabok!

Mej Collin. The Pilot responsible for making me "mabok" but he failed... He want 2 c me vomit... but can tahan... Only knee shaking abit.
Well, That's all folk... Hope u enjoy my pic n experience beside using some of the above pics as reference...

Loo CK> A Picture worth a thousand words... That the only living proof that I can show to all ppl in this forum that our PUTD's pilot can do all those incredible stunt. Remember, this is an old utility AC, wait till they get a proper attack helicopter. Most 1st n 2nd generation PUTD pilot are trained at The US Army Aviation Centre, Fort Rucker. Alabama.

Bud> Whatever things that I have that can be share, I'll share. except sensitive pics that cannot be release in public. Maybe if money & health permit, I'll catch a good Digital Still Camera. I used Canon G5 semi-pro type that cannot change lenses. Maybe next year LIMA, I'll try to get a good Su-30 MKM walkaround pics. This is my dream Bird...

Kuman> Maybe so... I think. The problem is, PUTD n TUDM still can't decide the role of Attack Helicopter. The TDM/PUTD want it so much bcoz of it Anti-Armour Role n be attach to the Armour Brigade n TUDM also want it bcoz anything that fly on land either fixed or rotary is the role of TUDM. TDM has it own reason bcoz it will be organic to them without relying too much to TUDM support. They why until today no Attk Heli has been finalized since the Rooivalk rumours. I hope TDM or TUDM will come to a solution. In fact, FYI, PUTD is also looking forward to have Support Helicopter. Maybe in the future TDM/PUTD will have it own Truly Capable Fighting Air Component rather than doing Observation n Spotting Tgt like today.
Just my 1 Ringgit opinion...

You got me already Major,
Thanks for the wonderful nauseating birds eyeview pictures.
Have always wanted to build the Alluette with the bright orange side panel. Always seen it and hear it's distinctive sound, quite similar to Blue Thunder.
Can somebody list brands that have this bird.
Richard.

Guys... I hope u all enjoy this as much as I am. This is my life time experience n opportunities. Not everybody in the Msian Army have the chance to photograph this. I also have to communicate with all AC in order to get the best shot n close up.
Silantra> If u have the chance n nasib to board this AC, ask the pilot to do some tactical flying. I think the moment the AC landed, u will sumpah that u will never board an army heli... like a roller coaster... suddenly up, suddenly down, quick turn, ground hugging n etc... phew! I had my chance already B) B) B)

Next time , we all board aeroplane and ask Enghui to perform 'tactical' flying, also barrel rolls.
From the pics, i see that you had passed over my house in PD (at the Admiral Marina)

What a nice photo Major! I wonder how proud we are if PUTD have their own attack helicopter as being propose at late 90's. But now it's just quite at all.
