When this turned up in the post i just had to start it even though i have a few other builds on at the momment i have been unsure about what colour to do it but on asking some peoplei decided to go with pearl white and smoke over the wheels it should look nice and clean im doing this one OOB it should look like this one when finished

First off i primed with halfords white

Then the base coat of zero white for the pearl was layed down and the pearl topcoat was put on

Once the paint was dry i put on some klear and its all ready to polish up in a few days you can just make out the pearl paint it does not show that well on camera but it came out great though

Has anyone got any thoughts on the interior colour i should go with pls

About the interior color, I suppose black, grey or red should do the trick.

BTW,
That place looks so familiar ! PJ UTAR?

cham2020 - June 26, 2008 02:50 AM (GMT)
interior for a sporty one will be red + black....!!

well, that photo is taken near section 13, PJ :P

A good choice of colour. Pearl White! I had seen a black one on the road too. It looked beasty man! :P

If I were to build one of this, I'll build it with the same paintjob and scheme with the R34 that I build in my signature... :D

I'd go for flat black. Looks menacing and 'bad boy'-ish. The rims, I'll give it a flat black finish too with red trim.

Some example of flat black cars:

Hamann's Ferrari F430 "Black Miracle"

BRABUS Bullit "Black Arrow"

Porsche GT-2

I have done the polishing now and painted the trim on the body thr panel lines i did buy thinning down some black enamel and touching the panel line with the brush and letting the capillary
action fill up the engraved panel lines and once dry i got a soft cloth and rubbed of the excess paint

Very nice build Jezz. The interior color combination look very classy.

PcEvo - July 1, 2008 10:26 AM (GMT)
Very nice and neat indeed jezz on the interior....i guess my suggestion being proven huh :P .... whereas as for the wheels, i would prefer it to be darken a bit with smoke or smoke grey like pics below cos i guess only 'Bling-Bling' cars uses chrome wheels...
