Guys,

I was at HHQ this afternoon, was told by HHQ boss Pemlow there will be 35% discount for all Revell kits only from 30 April 2008 until 3rd May 2008.

Guess what? All SFTPMS members will enjoy additional 5% off on top the 35% discount enjoyed by the rest. :D

So, what are you waiting for? Christmas do come early....

Happy hunting!

Not sure if Mr Low wants me to advertise this or not. After a rather long absense from this forum and also after a long absense from HHQ, I saw this thread and decided to drop by HHQ on Friday. Picked up a Revell 210mm howitzer kit but also wanted to get two 1/72 Dragon kits as well. As I didn't read this thread properly, I didn't realize the discount was for REVELL only. Mr Low highlighted this to me and I was prepared to be dissapointed and to return the Dragon kits to the shelves but then Mr Low VERY GENEROUSLY offered me 35% discount for the Dragon kits as well. He even express regret he cannot give me the extra 5% discount for the Dragons but I got the full 40% off for for REVELL of course. It really made my trip very worthwhile. So, now that my next (work) project at Menara BSN has started, I will be resuming my much looked forward to Friday lunch-time trips to HHQ.

Just been to HHQ and saw the latest Airfix arrival ... of course there was those very very neat Nimrods alll stashed away for those "preordered" members ... I just regretted not preordering one though...

Then there are those nice Bucanners and .... all other normal airfix stuff .... but the most interesting item to me was a commemorative Falklands war set in 72nd scale ... very nice 6 planes (4 argies and 2 brits) plus the usual collectable items like a falkland map and paints ... though the retail price was relatively high lol ... circa RM 350 per set but it seems like a good deal....

So if you are there for the Phantom meet maybe you might see these neat stuff there .... that's of course if the TU sale did not "sink" your wallet yet ....
