The Dogfight series is really good especially educational to those "aspiring" pilots... Note not for those airline pilots but welll ..... :P

The last episode was interesting ... those "foreign" migs in Mig Alley really taught those yanks a lesson or two .... :lol: :lol: B)

Must watch the next instalment.

to my limited knowledge, this must be the 1st time for the re-enactment of this "dog fight".... B)

that egyptian Mig was just totally awesome outmanuvered the Isreali Mirage everytime ... :ph43r: :blink: ... its also true that perhaps even when the plane has guns it was just not possible to achieve the kill ... B)

I like that final manouver best ... vertical stop by a Mig 21 ... total killer ... wonder what happened to that pilot? :unsure:

I vote that the Middle east dog fights is the Best episodes to date seen. B)

I particularly like those F15 dogfights ... coolll...

I sure wish they would show Pt 2 soon on Channel 555. Instead they will be showing the flying tigers of WWII next.... :(

Managed to catch glimps of Pt 2 Mid East dogfight and must salute those Hunters for giving those IAF Mirages really tough times. It was like watching an F86 dunking it out with a more modern delta plane F 102 perhaps... speed did not really mattered in a dogfight then... it was down to pilot skill.... :blink: ;)

Back to back for 6 hours, eh. My 2nd boy loves the show eventhough he's only 10 months old.

Everytime a plane went in flames his eyes lit up like a boy in a candy store :lol: .

tapikan...korang perasan tak, ada propaganda amerika n barat(nato blok) in ths dogfight documentary? all the russian mig is sayur to them. did u know, during vietnam war, american f4 phantom smtimes is sayur to.

The 1st 4 episodes of the marathon was really cooolllll... I particularly liked those Naval - plane vs ship dogfights ... especially the Japs nearly having the americans on the ropes ... hahaha :lol: :lol: :lol:

I think if and only if the Yamato had continued the presence in the Leyet Gulf ... the tide would have turned against those yanks and the war would have dragged on for many more months to come :rolleyes: :P ... ah well ... that's history now ....

David.. i only manage to watch around 30 minutes of the one titled "Death to the Japanese Fleet" where those DE class ship slug it out with the IJN Chokai and the KONGO (??) ..
pretty dramatic and the guts that small ship has to go aginst the big battleship..

pretty interesting...

if only someone manage to record all of this!.
