I can't find any colour photos of the Egyptian SA-6. From the black and white photo I've seen, I think the camo should be similar to the sand and green camo on most Egyptian vehicles during that time.

Also, the Ramadhan War is not the "6 Day War", but rather the Yom Kippur War which happened in 1973.

a note must be take that the Soviets had shipped and airfifted hundreds of sam 6 to Egypt during the war, many of those missile are dismantle from soviet missle site and arrived in their orginal soviet army colours...the Egyptians are so hard pressed for those missile that they were send straight to the Canal zone, where the IAF is creating havoc among the retreating egyptian army, it means they do not have time to repaint them into sand colour or what ever Egyptian army colour scheme.

this major resupply to the egyptian by the soviets was the God send excuse the americans needed to start airlifts of their own to resupply the isrealis.

so brader you have to decided which is which , the colour scheme before the war started, the 2nd to the 5th day....or when the egyptian starts running out of them or when they recieve fresh stock from the sovites on the 7th day.

for the syarians, they didnt use as much Sam 6 as the egyptian, as most IAF activites are focus on the Egyptian front, instead they had to deal with isreali artillery, amour and bunkers especially during their armour drive to capture the golans

I've no reference pics for SA-6 'Gainful' during yom Kippur War. But, some Egyptian SA-2 'Guideline' missile pictures seen in web, appeared to have mottled green patch over sand yellow base. Even the launcher also has camo paintjob.

I believe equipments already in stock before the start of the war is already painted sand or camo'd sand/green. Equipments lifted in during the war are the ones painted in their original colors. The most famous example are the emergency replacement Phantoms of the IDF-AF which were still in their US SEA camo. Also, the SA-6s were already in the Arab armies' inventory before the start of the war, which gave nasty shock to the IDF.

So razmanosaurex, I believe you can paint any of the appropriate colors.
