Those who need help can always contact SFTPMS to get some pointers.
What the administrators are trying to do is to increase volume and content so that we can initiate sponsorship for our local activities like contests, build logs, etc.
Need your help guys to make SFTPMS more relevant....
moJimbo - February 9, 2008 01:34 AM (GMT)

Loo CK - February 9, 2008 03:18 AM (GMT)
Mojimbo and forumers,
Any article submitted will be reviewed and formatted to its proper section. Appreciate all the contributions...

Loo..
so even for a WIP can be submitted and the admin will review.. even if the content is the same as the one we posted in here?
and what about the problem we have in updating our WIP, will this somehow "disturb" the flow of the WIP article? (i'm being one of them, look at my WIP...a very long intervals between updates)
thanks
kuman

I think for WIP, it is best if we submit the article once have completed the build. We build models at our own pace and time. That's why some of us (ahem) take a long time to update our WIPs.

that's what i thought so too... :)
Loo CK - February 11, 2008 03:00 AM (GMT)
guys,
we will label the WIP in parts, ie: Panzer 4 : WIP part 1 by Kuman.
this will resolve all the issues are we can put in links to sew them up.
masterqq - February 12, 2008 02:39 AM (GMT)
guys,
I will be uploading a series of TUDM staff.. as a Malaysian model website, I Feel that It should have some Malaysia related subjects, I hope this will be OK..
and I got some staff for the resource too.. how can i upload it..
PoohBear - February 12, 2008 03:04 AM (GMT)
Articles on Malaysian subjects are okay.
At the moment, the resource & gallery section is still undergoing construction. Please bear with it until we get it up and running. There'll be an announcement as soon as it's ready.
cheers :)

Hi Guys/Gal(s),
Please note that there is a small change to the Article Submission guide whereby (Step 6) has been updated. The change is a below:-
Step 6. Your email subject title should be relevant to your submission. For example an F-18 article may be titled "1/48 Hasegawa F18 Jolly Rogers".For the full guideline proper, please refer
hereThank you.

speaking of articles, there are some new items in our SFTPMS webpage
here
PoohBear - February 27, 2008 11:10 AM (GMT)
Dear Forumers,
The forums are generally more suitable for progressive WIP. However, you can always do an feature article by writing about your completed builds (including progress pics, if any) and send it in. Multi parts are okay as we can tie them up accordingly.
Writeups of modelling how to's, reviews, techniques, tips / tricks, guides, historical info, modelling theories, etc are also welcome. The more detailed & researched your writeup is, the better & more useful it will be for our readers & viewers.
If you happen to have writer's block or don't have anything to write about, that's okay too, as there's a Gallery section where we can feature just pictures of your finished models for everyone's viewing enjoyment.
MalaysiaScaleModelling.com needs more articles, gallery pictures and resource / reference / walkaround photos. We have space to use up and we'd like to use it for featuring your articles!
Thanks to all those who have contributed to date. Keep it coming!

Bro Naza,
your participation in the SFTPMS official webpage will be very welcomed. With your permission, we can upload all the works in the forum so far and edit the text. This will be similar to what we have done for CP Tan's bukit kepong. Is this OK with you?
Loo
ps: we will very much welcome you into our society! Mungkin boleh attend AGM kut?
PoohBear - February 27, 2008 03:28 PM (GMT)
Hi Naza,
Based on your group articles with Aidy, Brian, Thomas that is already up on MSM, you shouldn't have any problem with doing a writeup. Just follow the guidelines and you'll do just fine.
We can assist with edits like minor grammar and typo error corrections. As far as possible, we will leave the article that you composed as it is since your original intended meanings may be lost if we were to change the structure.
Joining SFTPMS is not a prerequisite therefore you can sign up later when you are able. Perhaps we'll see you at the AGM?
cheers :)

Hi! After the recent AGM. I am interested to download some pictures to the gallery but seem to have a problem. Loo had told me to look into the Submit Artical section but I do not want to submit any artical only to submit pictures in the gallery. How do I do that? Please help.

Hi Kenneth, for now, just zip up the pictures and mail them in to sftpms.articles@gmail.com. We'll take care of the rest.
