I've started building this for the MH ship group build. Trumpeter's Minsk and Dragon's Sovremenny. Nice kits. Great fit

As i have not built ships at all for the past 15 years I think this would just be out of the box. Sorry no PE. These photos are a few days outdated. I've painted a little more colour since then. Gun turrets will be added last.





And just for fun what if the forger landed on the destroyer? <_<

And put the ships on "water". I have not "weathered" the water

Look very nice so far and like your weathering as well.... ;) What kind of plastic you used for water effect?

Very nice.... may I ask what colors you used on the minsk deck. the brown and green..

Its actually aluminium foil and "crumpled" it using dragon's plastic "water" as a template. And then sprayed blue using industrial spray can
