Description: "I am the law"

My SWIP (Suspended Work In Progress). I got it from Naza (Dremel - Thanks, man!) for free since he don't feel like building it years ago. The kit is missing one part, the second half of the right hand (holding the law-giver).

I put it together to see the build-up. The kit comes with 2 heads; with and without helmet. I opted for the helmet head version.

I can see a lot of putty work is needed with this kit.

The base - very plain and clean. I think I'll include a custom backdrop for this build.

The arms - Note the attempt to scratchbuild the missing part on the second pic.

From the looks of it not to bad of a fig. Its got a decent pose that even Judge Dredd would approve, a nice little base and passable details. Good job on the scratchbuilding the missing part. Perhaps a thin chain would help complete his armor. Is it vinyl Harman?

CK,

The kit is injection kits. There is a tiny plastic chain included but I am thinking of replacing it with real chain. Small one, of course.

As for the base, I plan to rough it up a bit to show some wear and tear. Currently I pictured the base as rusty metal plates in an abandoned factory. For the custom backdrop, I'm planning to have a Judge Dredd cygil/badge maybe as tall as the figure itself.

Yup,

this kit was excellent in pose & details when painted up properly. I built one before a couple of years ago. Tricky part will be the detailing and the right blue to use for the helmet & suit, plus the gold chrome armour. Building it was really quite easy... :)

cheers,
