World War II in Colour

Historical gallery like this sure is one of the best. Makes me wonder if half of the faces in those picture survive the war.

:D nice picture..although some of it like from a movie scene.

Awesome photos but with WW2 photos you have to be careful as some of them were taken on stage.

Or staged like the photo of the British troops charging at El Alamein or even that famous Iwo Jima flag-raising photo.

Nevertheless, from the modelers' POV, these color photos are very useful in order to get the 'right' colour or tone of a particular weapon/vehicle/uniform.
