Title: Payload/payback Strike Gundam Iwsp
Description: Rushing for BAKUC

I promised myself the last time I would not do this but here we are again... 12 days before the BAKUC deadline and here I am just starting work on my Gundam. Too distracted by Falcons and Migs....

I am building the Strike Gundam IWSP, the bombcat edition. Am planning to load it up with a heap of arsenal. I was planning to do a diorama for this but looking at the time frame I might just be pushing it a little too much...Fingers crossed it will be completed in time.

The Gundam itself is pretty well designed, not too many sprue marks to contend with. (The guy posing is a model that I built previously)

But the show case of the model the IWSP strike pack is gonna be a killer. Many many sub components which will require mucho masking...

The basic pose should look something like this...

Okay, heres what I've done so far. I felt that the IWSP pack did not give the appearance that it had sufficient propulsion to thrust an 18 meter gundam across the sky. So I decided to add additional boosters and wings to the existing pack.

Heres the thruster pack in its original form..

I've stolen some bits and pieces from another Gundam, the Impulse

david,
It time u taken out those 1/72 plane of yours and cut the Wing and extended the IWSP Wing coz the extra booster just make the wing look too skinny and short ... make it more longer and also add Flab and other Airplane wing detailing just to scipe thing up abit....

Thanks for the suggestion Michael. I thought of extending the wings as well and I am looking around for possible solutions.

r u goin to paint this guy in dark color again?
that is always not recommended for competition because it make the model doesn't stand out!

Brother Rx,

Well, black is my favorite color…..but this time I think I will stick to more traditional colors. The strike will be white while the rest of the IWSP with be light grey. It may have some metallic highlights and some blue tinting. Let see how it turns out
