Lads,

Most of you have seen this before but these shots were taken during the first day of LIMA. I would like to thank Col Zaman, Arrow and team for their hospitality. LIMA'05 saw for the 1st time the team uses the French made Gallet 100H helmets.

Arrow aka Tdg 8 briefed me that these helmets is super light compared to Russian "bowling ball" and HGU55 or even 68 and the parts are interchangeable, stereo headphones and many others.

This shot appeared front page Malay Mail!! Thanks Slider.

woooooooooww!!! what a lovely MiG-29N pics collection from u bro! luv it very much!

bytheway Mr Bud, does the Gallet can be integrated with the MiG-29 HMS? I saw the rail that resemble a holding rail for the HMS at the 2nd pic. Can u explain that?

regards!

Glutenous Fox (musangpulut)!!

The Gallet 100 series can be intergrated to most of the available HMS in the market. That's the beauty of this baby compared to the Bowling ball. Plus, this helmet is chepear to maintain compared to US, British and Russian made.

Mr B, my pleasure. No point to keep if don't share with buddies!!

thanks for the link Armored friend!

But I think now the 19th squadron use the bat emblem replacing the cobra which is robbed by the MKM boys.

BTW, MiG-29N was always be my fav jet in TUDM inventory. If they could upgrade it's EW system, radar & put Adder and MIca as the main BVR missiles...

No wonder I heard a few jet engines roaring pass by... too bad my office is no longer beside the window facing the open area... just hear the sound only... my office now is facing another building... :(

This is the best experience in my life. Just imagine, a full military power MiG take off in front of u. I'm suppose to take the pic the moment the rear landing gear airborne but I was so trembling n I nearly drop my camera... so terlepas n this is what I can get... but U can still see the flame of the engine, dust flying around n my shaking knee cap. 4 u info, I'm using a cap ayam digital still camera, no fancy-fancy telephoto or zoom lenses. This is the maximum zoom that I can go

Kuman> Would love to help u but due 2 TUDM seldom put their MiG-29NUB on display n exhibition, we won't be able to capture this magnificent bird. Anyway, lets try our luck with Bud Bilko if he had pics of this bird...

Bro Sgt Bud Bilko, Any clues on this?
It's been hanging so long for you to add your MiG 29UB pics inventory.
