if tiger tank kits are in such a demand why doesnt someone get the guys together and order in bulk?..i dont think the hobby shop would refuse if money is put up front.
you could count me in if theres such an order.

Anyone seen this one? This New Zealander is building a life-size Tiger turret from wood and fibreglass. Quite amazing.

Not sure if this is a joke but a german company has announced that it will be producing life size Tiger I tanks. It will be powered by a 10 cylinder Merc 1000hp engine and weigh over 50 tonnes! :blink:

Google doesn't reveal anything so the only lead is this announcement on the Historic Military Vehicle Forum.

brader...forget about tunisia one....painting comes later, the most import thing is if you can fine a good picture of the turret roof and the tool mount. or you email me you 1/35scale instruction sheet la...just the turret section.

after looking at the bovington tiger1 close up...i just couldnt be more happy. these are the very first very clear very closeup photos i have seen ...and it does change many of the concepts that i once believe, well who cares what i believe...i have the real thing now and alot of my modelling methods will change ....

wish the dude would climb up the tiger and get a couple of shots on the turret roof..

one more problem brader....the butterfly shape nuts. for 1/35scale they are barely noticeable...on 1/16, they MUST be seen. :ph43r:
so how ah...any idea how to do them.. i was thinking about casting.
then i will be using a lot of brass, aluminium sheets and plastic rods.


want to know something crazy...i was thinking about taking this tiger to indonesia tomorrow and ask the furnace people there to copy a mould...then make aluminium copies..hahaha crazy...a platoon of 1/16scale aluminium tigers

why dont you use photo-etch? or can make the shape on something sharp and make a punch.....then just punch it out on plastic card or something....
