nice nice
the 'before' pics look great
shouldn't have rebuild it but it's ur choice, your kit!!!

let' see , how about custom gt wing, more airscoops, vortex generator and.. the list goes on........quad exhaust?

danone3001 - June 5, 2007 05:17 PM (GMT)
wow.. u sure hav the skills... hehe.. well anyway can u share what the materials u use to make those custom bodykits???

Kenneth - June 6, 2007 04:03 AM (GMT)
Nice work there. But wouldn't it be more easier to use a GT body to modify it?

PcEvo - June 9, 2007 02:45 PM (GMT)

Wow kalam2b...wat u r going to do here is a really good effort and 'project'...salute to the idea you have but i think Kenneth's suggestion will be more suitable...

For me, the early version; red...what red is this? Looks very HOT...May i know the front hood is it SMS Red Carbon decal?

kalam2b - June 11, 2007 07:16 AM (GMT)
Hi all, almost done with the body. Waiting for my in-laws to return my digital cam.

cham2020 : thanks 4 the idea. custom gt wing, airscoops, vortex generator.... in the making :)

danone3001 : Materials - styrene sheet, 2 parts epoxy putty, putty and sand paper (a lot of it).

Kenneth : yupp that's another way of doing it but i think proportion of gt body is quite weird if compare to stock body. the only thing that's same with stock is roof and windows panel. my 2 cents. :)

PcEvo : the previous color is tamiya metallic red (TS ??) . Yupp the hood is SMS red carbon decal.

thanks 4 the comments. and will update soon with the pic.

Wow, nice upgrade.... do you need to "overnight parts from Japan"??? Hahahahah... sorry, can't help it with the Fast and Furious lines...

Looks good. I like the details on the rear brake vent but I think the front hood will look better if the vent is flushed with the bonnet... my opinion lah because it looks like it is just slapped on from the accessories shop lah... no offense... just my point of view.

Maybe its too late but the rear wide body looks a bit rounded from certain angle... maybe it't the reflection or maybe its the paint but you really convert this R34 to a more menacing look though... :)

SAC33 - August 19, 2008 08:47 AM (GMT)
Pewwwweeetttt !!!! :ph43r:

Somebody has definitely "went to Metropolise" with this carrrrrrr...

Kalam > any plans to sell your body parts (car body parts that is :P ) to some AM manufacturer hahaha ....   .... or maybe advert your plans here and teach us your how to technics ... hehe .... ;)

cool r34, i like the satin finish wheel with orange line. :D
are you gonna carbon decal only the side skirting? coz the front and rear lips color looks diff with the side skirt ^_^

kalam2b - August 19, 2008 10:50 AM (GMT)
Thanks guys,

druid : hood vent? yupp in some view its looks like just slapped on the hood :D .Just wanna look different from my previous make. will add ellen-key(correct spelling i guess) at the edge of it.

SAC33 : No lah! i'm just rookie, most of it is try&error with styrene sheet and putty.

Entau : preliminary plan yes but, when i try to put the CF it is easily torn (quite fatigue - laying on the shelf for sometimes).

sad and funny things happened!

Good : my 3 years old son tried to help me finish this kit for "Event: Auto & Bikes Gb" :)

Bad : he do it his own way! all cover up with superglue and clear coat! including himself and my notebook.

quite furious in the beginning but when he gave "puss in boots" looks, i laugh my s*** out.

try to recover it but i think i won't be as good as b4, lot of sanding and polishing need to be done.

post the update tomorrow.

Bro, show the picture of the kit after the "assistance" from your son lah...

kalam2b - October 15, 2009 04:55 AM (GMT)
cannot show 'lah', i've tried to fix-it but not as good as b4 (i think it's ok 'lah' need 2 move-on with other kit).

picture after tried to ammend it.

How it's look now. the hood, roof and boot are unrepairable ( the glue too thick and i'm out of tamiya orange). Just wet-sanding and spray it with flat black.

Aiyohhhhh... that bad aaa...

I think it's still repairable... Just need a few rounds with a needle file and putty and all will be ok... but then you need to repaint the whole thing lah... but the combination of flat black and orange looks good... :)

sky_tokyodrifter - October 15, 2009 06:28 AM (GMT)
wahhhh this bodykit is crazy, sorry to see that many parts need to be repaired. Dont give up bro ;)
