I believe he wants to remove the chrome plating on the sword blade.
The chrome makes the blade look plasticky and toylike.

thanks. paint using airbrush lo. Masking using tamiya masking tape as usual. Touchup by using brush for tiny area. B)

oh, that "piston" thing. Scratch build using tamiya 2mm tube, tamiya 3mm pipe and pla-plate. with brass rod and kotobukiya detailing stuff also.

V-fin broken becoz drop from 1meter height.... need to redo :(
