I might abandon my 25-pounder dio. I'm thinking of doing a vignette of the 'Claret' operations during the "Konfrontasi". This will involve an Iban trekker and some RAR troops.

Following Imran's (Druid) good suggestion to have a pinned thread to keep everyone updated on finished work, I will be pinning this thread started by Thomas (Masterqq), one of the Merdeka Build Coordinator.

Thomas if I may suggest maybe we can keep this thread just for finished works and the in-progress ones can be kept in different threads by the individual themselves but unpinned. That way everyone can check in on this thread just to see how many projects have been completed. How about it?

Is this going for an exhibition to coincide with 50th Merdeka or posting in the ARC?

I have a substantial collection 1/48 & 1/32 TUDM aircraft.
You have seen them at USM in 2004.
Would love to add in a 1/32 F-18D into the collection.

as time is not on our side, can I request all participants for the Merdeka group build to forward me clear images of some of the samples of their volunteered display kits?
For your information, I have already received wonderful advance news from Argrillion that the first venue has been comfirmed at Cineleisure. We are negotiating the logistics now but need to compile the working proposal papers before April.
As such any photos at the moment is welcomed. The above progress list will also be made known.

Mr.B, masterqq, Aidy, Hilmi, and other participants who have completed kits, can I get your assistance in this as time is running shorts. If none are taken yet, please consider taking them with a blue backdrop so that the images have a sense of consistency to impress the would be sponsors. My dio isn't complete, it's the same as what you saw at the AGM. Can a black & white shot of it at this stage suffice?

Sorry because my Harimau still is still pending. I'm waiting for the paint which I will only get this Saturday to finish building it.

Actually I don't have anything building for the GB in the strict sense. However I will start weathering my Hornet in order to celebrate the Golden Jubilee.
