Title: Posting Images online

kelv_w - January 17, 2006 02:42 PM (GMT)
For users that wishes to post images on this forum, you could upload your photos through these free online hosting sites.

For a quick and easy hosting, try
Imageshack

To upload and create your own album (requires a little tweaking) try
Photobucket

However do try to keep the file size of the photos to less than <84kb. You could do this by saving the files as .jpg in photoshop and adjust the quality of the image (The file size will change in accordance to the selected quality).

Thank you.

So you can post images, one at a time, in the forum. But what if one wishes to send the images privately to another member (through this portal), due to restricted classification?

I mean, some pictures, especially military based or factory prototype design development images, cannot really be posted for public viewing....

Why u need a photoshop? Dun think its FREE.

If u want to do a minor modification, try picasa 3, can download it free.

Bud Bilko - February 22, 2009 06:05 AM (GMT)
En Taktahusiapapenggunanya (UnknownUser),

Yeap, you can resize the file in Picasa.

Uncle Sarge.

xamel1975 - February 23, 2009 12:47 AM (GMT)
You don't need Photoshop to do resizing. Simple Windows application like Paintbrush can do that.

Basically what I did is resizing my pictures first using Windows Paintbrush. This will make it easier and quicker upload to picasa or photobucket.

Silantra - February 23, 2009 01:27 AM (GMT)
for batch resizing, try this free apps called Fotosizer....

How big the picture can be post? 800x600? 1024x768?
Zero-G website only allow max 800x600.

PoohBear - June 9, 2009 04:25 AM (GMT)
You can post 1024x768 images. Might take a while to load though.

Most would stick to 800x600 for ease of uploading and faster viewing.
