If you convert to one of the 7 combat professions (Jedi, Smuggler, Bounty Hunter, Officer, Spy, Commando or Medic) then you will be level 22. If you convert to Entertainer or Trader then you will get the entire profession.

You receive the 10 respec's (not counting the one you get when you first login). Whatever level you are when you login that is the level the respec will put you at when ever you use it. The level will show in the examine window if you don't remember. There is no time limit on using the respec's at this time.</DIV>

What does this mean to us? It means that as it currently stands, converting to full artisan or full entertainer will not be an issue, but if you want to do combat, this presents an unfair burden. I wouldn't recommend doing anything about it at this time, as things are always subject to change. I would recommend TESTING this statement on TC.

If it gets closer to this going live and this is still the official answer, you may want to use your token respec to get a level 80 combatant. If you do not have a token respec, it is up to you whether you want to grind some combat before this goes live. I can't tell you what the best thing to do is because things may change, and indeed a different respec system was explained to me in Austin (so things changed between then and now).[/doHTML]
