I HATE both these pairings. They drive me crazy. Kenshin/Kaoru is the canon pairing, and I'm kind of going with the theory that Megumi liked him at first but then just flirted with him to piss off Kaoru.

And Sano/Sayo? She's DEAD (thank god). It was a fling. ^.~

I definatly agree with you on both those things.
I think Megumi liked Kenshin at first, because he convinced her to go back into medicine and saved her and all that, but she's not stupid. I think she realized she had no shot with him and just does it to annoy Kaoru

and yeah. Ugly died (not that I see much about those two anyway) so there's no way she can be with Sano ^.^

Aoshi/Megumi is another pretty popular pairing, what about them?

Good one. I can definitely see them, but I kind of get the feeling they'd die out after a while. I think their personalities would finally end up getting to each other, and there'd just be too much drama for them. And I'm not sure if she'd be willing to give anybody who worked for Kanryuu a chance. Plus, you've got Misao on the sidelines there. ^_~

Yeah, Misao would kill Megumi if she went after Aoshi XD

Plus, I think that Aoshi would just ignore all her little insults and she'd get bored with him. And he was the one who locked her in that tower so that might be a little...awkward.

Let's eliminate some more while we're at it? XD hm...Saitou/Megumi?

Tokio. He's got a wife. Besides, even if Sano and Megumi weren't together, they're like friends, and Sano would probably kill Saito. XD

Okay, well she's got Kenshin first off all. And second, that would last about five seconds before Kaoru would kill Sano XD

Although I have never seen the episode or read the volume in the manga with Sayo in it, I've heard about this...

I say, I believe she cared about him, and he cared about her, but not to the point that...well, they just weren't right. They really weren't. Sano/Megumi is so mmuch of a better pairing, for one thing because you can tell that if, for example, Sano had to choose between Sayo and Meg, it's obvious who he'd choose, and same goes for Megumi, with Sano and Ken-san.

And what. The. HELL. Misao/Sano? I've never seen that pairing. o_o

Although, one time I did find this repulsive fic about Sano like harrassing Kao, then Kenshin went off to save Kaoru and Megumi cried because she wanted to be with Kenshin or something. O_O

Omgosh, I could see that happening in the Anime. *sighs* It's so like Sano to get all frustrated and start yelling, and likewise for Kenshin to start stuttering.
