Title: Lineage II Roleplaying Announcement
Description: This is for Real...
Borrie - April 2, 2007 07:47 PM (GMT)
For three weeks now, members of the Legacy RP community has ventured into our first hosted MMORPG, Lineage II. The Game, unknown to many of our players, including if not all of the Administration team, has grasped our community's hearts and has become a great place for Roleplay, to help evenly distribute the creative ideas of our minds. The Lineage II Roleplay will Co-exist with the Star Wars roleplay done on JKA, and be as two seperate stories, but both share the same Roleplaying values as before.
As always, like our JKA server, The Lineage II Roleplaying and Server will have its own rules. Technical rules can be found on the front page of the community window ingame, (Alt + B ) but these rules are posted for Roleplaying.

The Story
The Kingdom
For Many Years the Kingdom of Aden, a kingdom formed by a Young King named Raoul after successfully quenchinga civil war, has known peace and prosperity and flourishment. Followers of the Light, Humans have allianced themselves with the Elven People, who live in the Western Forests of the land, and have shared their wisdom between eachother. Queen Selkace the Fifth, Rules the land with a tender heart but an iron fist, keeping it safe at all costs, for the complete love and compassion for her people.
The Races of the World
Spread all around the Kingdom of Aden, The Humans have been the backbone of the Kingdom. Having the shortest lifespawn of all the races, Humans can be quick to want power, and won the war of races long ago as the dominant species. Most humans are kind hearted, but it is known that no two humans are alike.
In the Northern parts of Aden, Live the highly intelligent dwarves, and the mighty Orcs. The Dwarves, known world wide for their inventions and mining, they adopted the policy of "siding with the most powerful," and as a result they became an isolated race. Their structure of society can be compared to a giant corporation. Even though they are within the ruling boundries of Aden, Dwarves are renowned for their business savvy and capacity for organization.
The Orcs, Living even farther north, are the race of fire, and serve the god Pa'agrio. Among all the races, they have the most powerful physical strength. Although they live on the far boundries of Aden, they normally consider themselves their own kingdom, and fill their lands with their own Culture.
Spread accross the land of Aden, are the Elves and Dark Elves. Mainly taking residences in one spot, both Elves live a tense lifestyle between one another throughout Aden.
The Elves, light and pure, worship the goddess of water, Eva. They have slim figures and long ears, and are characterized by their pure and innocent beauty. Before the Rise of the humans, the Elves held the land as their sacred home, before Aden was established. Their great kingdom now just a shadow on the land, The elves have allied themselves with the humans, accepting them. Together they have led a peaceful friendship, continuously training one another in their arts and skills.
The Dark Elves, follow Shilen, the goddess of death who used to be the goddess of water before her fall from grace. Originally, the Dark Elves used to belong to the Elven tribes. When the Elves were defeated by Humans, some of the Elves decided to learn black magic, the power of Gran Kain and Shilen, in order to obtain the power to defeat Aden, and find revenge upon the Elves. Their overall appearance is similar to that of Elves. However, they are taller and have dusky skin and silvery hair.
Current Events
The Queen of Aden, Selkace, and the King of the Elves, Ankara, have watched over the land of Aden for some time during their rule, continuing their ancestor's tradition of peace. The Many other lower sentient creatures of Aden have increased in size, and perhaps threaten innocent lives outside the majestic cities. Monsters have cropped up in the strangest places, such as the Dwarven mines, and the Empty towers such as Cruma, and the Tower of Insolence. Not to mention the recent dimentional breaks that have caused mysterious buildings to appear accross the land.

Sounds rather good. I could of fixed a bit up with the Humans though.
What I don't see is an "Evil" lord, or if that is going to come through someoen roleplaying it.
Dragon - April 2, 2007 08:37 PM (GMT)
Initially Borrie wrote an evil lord into the server, then he realized it was too forced and instead chose to start the server in a state of peace, allowing anyone to take the role of the bad guys if they are so inclined.

How logical
Anubis - April 10, 2007 08:25 PM (GMT)
Id appreciate it if someone would tell me how to set up my files and stuff to play on the server.
Kel - April 10, 2007 08:49 PM (GMT)
You should PM Ohm aka Rè£îÇ about this if you want to get in since he has the instructions.
Anubis - April 10, 2007 11:42 PM (GMT)
Took 3 hours to Download and ended up being corrupt. I hate my internet.
Dragon - April 11, 2007 09:01 AM (GMT)
Download both parts and use winrar to extract. If you extract Part 1, Winrar should automatically extract Part 2 also if its inside the same folder.
Anubis - April 11, 2007 06:37 PM (GMT)
What do you mean 2 parts. It downloads as one big 2.8 gb file i thought.
Dragon - April 11, 2007 07:00 PM (GMT)
Perhaps it does now, I downloaded 2 parts from Ohm. Oh and a note to people there is a new L2 update. Details found
HERE

If my Logic is still working, I do not believe Offical L2 updates effect our server, considering we're not using their offical live servers. Any updates come from Ohm's modification of the Database.
General No - April 11, 2007 11:21 PM (GMT)
So we didn't have to download that?
Borrie - April 11, 2007 11:37 PM (GMT)
Nope. The Live expansion for L2 came out today, but we cant use it.
StarCow - April 12, 2007 01:49 AM (GMT)
It installed itself on mine...
Dragon - April 12, 2007 08:54 AM (GMT)
Same when loading L2 it auto updated

On the new forums Ohm said there is a simple fix...so dont worry. All we need now is the server back up.
