Havent been able to access it in months. Is there truly low access to the site or is it just down all the time? Its impossible to find hte maps otherwise, if you know alternate sites for some of the popular maps in the server rotation, do tell.

It would be a good idea if the server had some place to upload these files, that way the community can keep up at pace. Unless of course pcgamemods hates me alone and everyone else can access it. :)

It costs money to host files. I'd be willing to do it except some other game community will figure out how to rip files from us, hotlink, so on and so forth. JKfiles is good enough.

Filefront works just fine, i dont know how long they store info.
Get an FTP server(there´s ways around).

Who cares if other communities find out about us. You create a community ring or free publicity for YOUR server. Also, control bandwidth for non-secure members and presto :P

There are links on this forum that point to the required files necessary to play on the provided game servers from this community. Most of them point to JKfiles. To host on our own server, would be costly bandwidth wise, and to keep costs low would prohibit ftp altogeter unless it's tiny files that are less than 1mb in size.

To get the file, you need to go to the actual thing is called such as pcgamemods.com/15/exc exc

exc exc is the file name that pcgamemods have given it so that it cna be acessed, I beleave it can still be accesed, you just need to find otu what the exc exc is and put it in, the direct links for the files section should bring up a download, its how i sometimes get mine, keep in mind it doesn't always do it.

Whenever I need to host something, I use gimehost.
