Not to gloat, but today on the server, Myself, GX, and Nifty-Eyes started a truely fun RP. It was going pretty well, until other people started RPing Tuskens and it got confusing, with weapons blazing, and everything was absolutely heactic, and even then it had some saving qualities of a good RP.

I was wonder, if perhaps insted of Imperial / Alliance / All those other "LETS BLOW THE OTHER MOTHER FRACKER AWAY!" Factions could perhaps begin to get the back hoe, while smaller, more personal RPs could start to come up?

While the RP today took place with two temps, and myself as an perm, I found it twice as fun as abunch of Storm Troopers, or all that good crap.

On the server, 99.99% of the time I notice there is alot of Alliance/Imperial centered RP. Perhaps people can put that aside for more RPs like what Nifty, GX, and I had today?

you mean a common "Random, out of the way, not really story line related other than refrence, RP" ?

Mmmhmm. I really never knew a server, ment to RP and personal character development had to be focused so much on the contiuation of a storyline based and driven up War between two major factions.

It's not like the alliance or the Empire are doing anything atm. If it's the little guys you want to see more people rp, then nothing is stopping you, or prehaps you should be on more for all the other RPs that are occuring like the Mandalorians on the brink of civil war, the rise of the Sith remnants, the hilarious RPs of the Enlightened and the spreading of their parasites, or even the struggles of the Jedi as they try to survive in a galaxy that has no more need for them. Given the fact that it's safe to assume that on Jundland, there's no Imperial or ALliance presence, and given the fact that on Naboo nobody played an Imperial or Alliance character today, and that again on Wayland, you will not see any of those characters, I think it's safe to say that the Alliance, or the Empire do not dominate to the point where 99% of RP is based solely on them.

There is no storyline, as it is completely controlled, and created by the players.

Eh, good point Kel. I am hardly on enough to really bitch, I'm just saying that the RP we had today was really cool, and I'd like to see more of it. =D

Well, I can easily see why you would get that impression. Back when we were using the matty_quad map, for some reason people would only play their imperial characters simply because the planet was Bastion, although the facility that is represented in the Quad is a public facility. Same thing with the Alliance when they controlled pyramid. However that's one of the reasons why I'm happy that the war is over because from our experience, things have been better when you do have that 1 superpower that controls the galaxy, and it leaves room for the smaller factions to RP with each other, or to cause trouble for the ruling government.
