Hello Dan,I sympathize on the welding subject, although I`ve finished all mine.I`m just going out to re-fit my rebuilt carbs. What`s the 4.2 for?,I`ve got a 420.Keep us posted on how the work`s going and welcome to the forum,AZ.

Hi Dan, missed you this morning - was still in bed.

Well, the show season hasn't started yet, I thought I'd make the most of the chance to lie-in.

How about a picture of your car and some details of what you're doing?

Take care,

Pete

Hi,

Thanks for the welcome, to answer the question's my car is a 67 e type the work i'm doing is a full restoration ? Eighteen months ago i started with a service and a few jobs for the mot, now i have a bare shell, large bill's from Barrett's and problems with enthusiasm.
I shall try to get some photo's up of happier times when i was driving her about.

Big job!

Should look great when finished :D and I can't wait to see it!

Davidc has an E-type I'm sure he would give his advice if you have any probs (sorry David)

I know just how you`re feeling right now  ,It`s hard to get any enthiusiasm when she keeps looking worse with everything you do,but stick with It.I`m nearing the end of a planned three month tart up that I started nearly three years ago  ,but I`m resisting the temptation to rush It onto the road now I`m so near to the end.
Just remember how great she felt to drive before you started and then think how much better she`ll feel when she`s finished, and you can say to everyone " It`s all my own work" ,and smile like never before :D .
Good luck and keep going. That button on the dash Is just begging to be pushed again!.DON`T LET SOMEONE ELSE DO IT!
AZ.
