Title: Cheshire Region 20th

XJ Pete - April 7, 2006 02:47 PM (GMT)
Our anniversary is being held at Capesthorne Hall, Macclesfield, Sunday 28th May
This is in conjunction with the Andrew Greenwood Show, Jaguar Day. This year, it promises to be something very special. There are many plans well under way, commemorative items are being produced for those attending and food and refreshment should also be available. The organising committee showed members some of the things being planned at the April club meeting. One of these is a polo shirt which should look fantastic, samples were shown and pictures are here - but you'll have to use some imagination!

This is the mens shirt, although the badge is going to be different AND the colour has been agreed now to be light grey - I told you that imagination was required!

{EDIT} The ladies shirts will now be the same as the gents due to low stocks. The quality remains the same though.

The final badge! Very smart.

If anyone wants a shirt, please contact AARonV12. The cost is believed to be £12.50 or the badge can be embroidered onto your chosen garment for £5, there was talk at the meeting of the shirts being subsidised, but whether this would extend to non-Cheshire members was not clear to me - best to ask Ron.

The weather did us proud today, it was a great event, enjoyed by all.

It was nice to get out again, it's been a long winter, but Summer's here - whahey!

The photos don't do the day justice, but my poor lobster-like face proves that it really was sunny!

Here's the star of the show, Jonathon Hulse's new car, what a superb example - and available for hire!

Some views to try and show the scale of the event, the latter showing chief auctioneer, Tony Ridge! The Auction raised £150, well done Tony.
