Just purchased a 1989 Daimler XJ40 and the instrument console is completly dead, other than illumination when lights are on.

Have checked plugs on rear of console and fuses in left hand kick panel box, and centre console box all ok.

Anyone have the answer?

I don't know the XJ40 :-)

But maybe one of our Members could post there Knowledge?
