Title: WHERE IS EVERYBODY?
JAGAZ - August 5, 2006 08:42 AM (GMT)
What has happened to everyone  .Does anyone still exist out there or have you all gone on holiday at the same time.Surely not everyones lives have become as boring as mine and have nothing worthwhile posting.Come on people lets hear from you, even if it`s only a joke.
Just a thought ,but many of you must have been to some shows this summer ,so why not tell us about them and maybe post a picture or two, just a thought.
JagTony - August 5, 2006 07:59 PM (GMT)
I think we are all at shows or on holiday
But i'm always around!
Has been quiet recently tho
JAGAZ - September 12, 2006 09:48 PM (GMT)
OK this is all getting a bit too much for me now  .
WHERE IS EVERYONE!.
If no one else is going to post then i may as well tell you something about my dull life of late.At the september cheshire region meeting(which happened to fall on the same day as my birthday B) ),I won the second thing i have ever won in my life which was a rather good box of choc`s in the raffle, which incidentely the kids enjoyed while i was at work :( .The first thing i ever won was a nice bottle of wine at one of the hot pot lunches that followed one of the now famouse runs organised by mike.I shall be attending the october run but sadly not ,as hoped in my 420 as she still won`t be ready  ,but i will be on the bike ,now shining with her new paint in orange with black and silver flames.Better than it sounds ,honest ;) .
Hope to hear what everyone else has been doing this summer as this place is getting very empty just lately.
Hope every one is well and let`s hear from someone, anyone, cheers,AZ.

Argh, what happened to your bike's nice Everton blue paintwork?
Anyway, don't panic, we're all still here, just, enjoying the weather while we can and generally making the most of not having to be stuck in front of the PC. I remember that last year, after Cholmondeley, winter arrived with a sudden crash. This doesn't appear to be the case this year, but there aren't any guarantees!!
I'm sorry to hear that 'the money pit' won't be making her debut this season, but it'll make the anticipation all the more enthused for next season.
Take care.
:D
JagTony - September 13, 2006 08:11 AM (GMT)
LOL
Yep Winter will see everyone back at there PC's :D
This strange weather has had us baffled I think, and we are making the most of it!
Hope everyone has been enjoying there events this year
:D

Hi !
I don't know where everybody has gone because I am new round here.
After more than 40 years of dreaming of owning a Cat, I have finally done the deed and bought a 5.3 V12 XJS Convertible ( I don't think I will ever get tired of that description!! :D ).
I think that I have probably had a severe bump on the head, but I have got to an age where people expect me to do strange things.
Yesterday I received my JEC club card so, here I am, searching the site for any info or justification for buying a gas guzzler which will totally dissolve my daughters inheritance (she has been informed  ).
I couldn't help but post, after having been out in the sunshine with the top down, in what has got to be THE ultimate cruising machine. It will take a full team of plastic surgeons at many years to wipe the grin off my face. :P :D :)
Anyway I just thought I would tell somebody how great owning a Jaguar really is (I normally drive a Munich Mondeo 3 series-Nice to drive but no class) but I guess you guys already know.
I hope to see you at the next regional meeting.
Regards
Fat Freddies Cat

Welcome Freddie :-)
Glad you made the move to Jaguars and Joined the J.E.C
A nice Cat by the sound of it!...hope to see it at shows and meetings :-)
It will get busy here soon....winter setting in and no-where to go in our Jags, so posting in here is about your best bet...LOL
We are a nice friendly bunch! (honest)
But glad you found us :-)
JAGAZ - September 18, 2006 04:54 PM (GMT)
Welcome Freddie to the friendliest bunch of people you`re likely to meet.If you`re daft enough to buy a jag ;) then you`ll fit in nicely.A wide variety of people and i haven`t a bad thing to say about a single one.
Excellent choice of car, can`t wait to see it,oh and the financial situation will only get worse,BUT IT`S WELL WORTH IT B) .
Why not post a picture so we can all have a look now.

Hi Jagaz
I was thinking of going to the Cheshire Region Club Meeting tomorrow (first Thursday of the month) but the Cheshire Region page shows the 7th of September as the next meeting! :(
Do the meetings ALWAYS take place on the 1st Thursday or is this variable? ;)
Also, do we turn up in our Jags, or is this dependant on the weather. I don't want my first attendance to be a total embarrassment and be the only member to arrive in a BMW (hey, somebody has to drive them :ph43r: )
I am still not sure if I have done the right thing buying an XJS (if that can ever be wrong) and I really want to fit in ( That's obviously not true or I would have bought a Ford!! :D )
Any help or advice would be welcome.
Fat Freddies Cat

Oh dear, sorry Freddy!
Other things have taken my time just these last few months, the website and this forum have taken a back seat :( , even my pride and joy hasn't been waxed this year (never mind - I did it last year!).
I thought the Cheshire site was fairly clear about meetings, but your enquiry has made me realise that this isn't the case - I'll fix it - I promise.
You're very welcome to turn up in any car you wish to our meetings, but be warned, I am a rampant xenophobe and even the sight of a German car turns me into a rabid beast. Luckily, there are a series of car-parks where these types of vehicles can be hidden from my gaze!
I'm sure the fast approaching dark evenings will bring the Jag owners out of the garage/driveway/scrapyard and back onto the computer, so I hope the forum will once again be active and useful.
Thanks for your input.
JAGAZ - October 9, 2006 09:41 PM (GMT)
Hello fat freddie`s cat, sorry I didn`t answer your post sooner but i`ve been a little busy lately rebuilding my bike and because of that i didn`t make this months meeting because the wife had the Mundaeno! and the jag is still in bits ,and now my bike is in bits too  , so no transport.
The club meets EVERY 1st Thursday of the month apart from the January meeting which doesn`t happen at all with it being so close to Xmas.I know this one as the very 1st time i tried to attend was a January and therefore found no one around.
Just turn up in whatever mode of transport you have as the interest in the jags is what drives us.I`ve been attending on the bike or in the mondeo for the past 3 years while working on the jag and i haven`t even had my tyres let down yet  .
Hope to see you soon and enjoy the last of the top down motoring while you can,JAGAZ.
